Pink and Purple Foundation

The Pink and Purple Foundation is a non-profit organization founded by Ms Farai Juliet Magada also known as Farie Jules in 2021.

The foundation looks to help eliminate inhuman harmful practices that violate young girls and women’s human rights and empower them with knowledge, education, vocational skills and providing counseling.

Prevailing harmful practices like child marriages, teenage pregnancies, gender-based violence, sexual harassment and abuse of the girl child are the main target areas Pink and Purple Foundation seeks to eliminate stirred by Vision 2030 and 2063, regionally and internationally through awareness campaigns, education, and events.

The foundation is inspired by the founder’s story who is a child marriage survivor and vowed to dedicate her life to educate, empower, inspire girls and women, and raise awareness on child marriages, teenage pregnancies, abuse, and mental health issues.

Pink and Purple Foundation’s Work:

1. Grooming girls and women physically and mentally for them to love themselves inside out with education on self love, care, and confidence.

2. Educating young girls about sex, self value, and achieving goals.

3. Professional personal and family counseling to victims, survivors and third parties.

4. Inspiring and giving hope to girls and women that feel hopeless, unloved, rejected by family and society because of divorce, having children at an early age and getting married at a tender age.

5. Empowering young women through education and vocational programs to victims and survivors of child marriages and teenage mothers.

6. Pad Drives to primary schoolgirls between 9 and 13 years of age to curb period poverty in peri-urban and rural communities in the country.

7. Educate and bring awareness to the community on gender-based violence, abuse, child marriages, child labor, mental health issues, sexual harassment, and teenage pregnancies.
